Mentoring and Coaching

Free Mentoring for Humberside LMCs' Constituents   

Service from Humberside LMCs in partnership with GPMplus.  Free and open to GPs, Practice Managers, Nurses and other senior practice staff with leadership/decision making responsibilities, working in General Practice in the Humber region.  8 hours of confidential support over 12 months.

Resilience and Wellbeing Coaching offer - from NHSE&I for practice staff.

Individual coaching support with a highly skilled and experienced coach.  A space for you to offload the demands of whatever you are experiencing and be supported in developing practical strategies for dealing with this.  It might be that through a one-off conversation you have all the strategies you need to cope with your situation and stay well.  Or you might find a few sessions helpful.  It is all led by you.  Choose from the following:

RCGP Coaching 

For any member of the practice team including clinical and non-clinical staff. The service is provided by a specially trained cohort of practice support advisers and trainers who are all highly experienced primary care professionals and includes: GPs, practice nurses, practice managers and pharmacists.

Freedom to Speak Up  

Humberside LMCs offers a Freedom to Speak Up Guardian Service across primary care in our four CCH areas. You can raise a concern about any risk, malpractice or wrongdoing you think is harming the service you deliver in primary care. Humber, Coast and Vale Resilience Hub 

Access support and advice, available to all health and care workers and their families, living or working in the Humber, Coast and Vale region. The Humber, Coast and Vale Resilience Hub offers advice and support for issues such as emotional wellbeing to bereavement, debt, domestic violence and relationship issues. The Hub is funded and supported by NHS England and the Humber, Coast and Vale Care Partnership.

Supporting Our NHS People: Primary Care 

NHSE document which brings together details of a wide variety of services, resources, and sources of help for people working in primary care. Includes counselling and talking therapies, wellbeing and self-help apps, financial support, mental health hubs, and online guides and resources.

Support for anyone bereaved by suicide from Hull and East Yorkshire Mind and North East Lincolnshire Mind. The service offers emotional support, practical support, or just someone to listen, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Urgent Intercultural Therapy for Staff 

Due to the recent crisis in Kabul, Afghanistan, North East and Yorkshire NHS Equality and Inclusion Team are offering a therapy bereavement service of three sessions for people affected, initially without an assessment. This offer is an interim arrangement.

Nafsiyat can take referrals through their online form, via email: admin@nafsiyat.org.uk or by phone at 020 7263 6947. Referrals will need to mention their organisation name and job title. This service is available to Trusts, social care and primary care staff.
